Our Interview Process

Here’s what you can expect from start to finish.

Step 1: Resume

Submit your resume via our website. Make sure it highlights your relevant skills and experience. We’ll review your resume to ensure it matches the job description and aligns with what we’re looking for.

Step 2: Exploratory chat

You'll have a chat with someone from our talent team to discuss your career interests, relevant experience, and learn more about Kustos. This is a chance for us to get to know each other better.

Step 3: Skills Assessment

Technical Roles: You'll have a one-hour technical screening interview to evaluate your technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Purpose: We use skills assessments to reduce bias and ensure informed hiring by evaluating real work, helping candidates understand the role better.

Role Fit: We may also have a brief practical exercise to see how you approach tasks relevant to the role.

Step 4: Interview Panel

Technical Roles: You'll have one or two more one-hour interviews, including a culture interview to see how you fit with our team.

Operations/Policy Roles: You'll have a one-hour interview to discuss your skills and fit with our team. We want to ensure that you’re not only skilled but also a great fit for our team.

Step 5: Offer

After a chat with our leadership and a final background check, we'll make you an offer! We’re excited to welcome new team members who share our values and enthusiasm for cyber security.
